Travel to Kandersteg comfortably by train. You have several possible routes to choose from. ICE International can take you to Basel where you can catch a train to Spiez from where you can travel on to Kandersteg. You can also take Eurostar to Paris and from there take the train to Basel where you can catch a train to Spiez from where you can travel on to Kandersteg.
You can also take the night train to Basel and change trains there. Sleep while you travel and arrive well rested in the heart of the city!

Seat reservation
IIn summer 2025 from 28 May to 31 August seat reservation is compulsory. This reservation is free if you select it during booking. At other times, reserving a seat is not compulsory. However, we do recommend it. You will receive a confirmation after booking that includes the carriage number and your seat number.
