Christmas village in Liège
The Christmas market in Liège is often referred to as the oldest Christmas market in Belgium. With over 200 chalets, it is a real Christmas village. Accordingly, the Christmas market has real honorary citizens and a mayor. Fun activities to do include a ride on the Ferris wheel, a skating on the ice rink or the toboggan run. Besides visiting the Christmas market, there is much more to do in Liege. Go shopping and climb the 374 steps of the Montagne de Bueren for great views over the city.
