1. Plopsaland de Panne

Studio 100's first and most famous park is one of the busiest parks in Belgium, offering fun for the whole family. With 53 attractions and 7 roller coasters, there is something for everyone at Plopsaland de Panne. Parents can enjoy the magical world of their favourite Studio 100 characters together with their children in themed areas such as Bumba, K3, Samson & Marie, Big & Betsy, and Kabouter Plop. Besides the exciting rides and colourful shows, there are also plenty of rest areas where parents can relax while the children have fun. De Panne railway station is within walking distance of the park and is easily accessible from Ghent, Antwerp en Brussels. Travel time from Amsterdam to De Panne is about 4 hours, and tickets are available from 32 euros.

2. Mini Europa

A stone's throw away from the Atomium, in Heizelpark, is Mini-Europa, a perfect destination for the whole family. Here you can admire more than 350 famous monumental buildings recreated on a scale of 1:25. Both parents and children can enjoy interactive elements, such as the eruption of Vesuvius and the spinning windmills of Kinderdijk. 4. Bobbejaanland

With 38 rides and 8 roller coasters, Bobbejaanland is an adventure park for daredevils and families. Experience the thrill of Fury, one of Belgium's fastest roller coasters, which launches you at 106.6 km/h to a height of 43 metres. There are plenty of activities for the youngest visitors, including a 7,000-square-metre indoor play paradise and a 500-square-metre outdoor playground. Around Halloween, Bobbejaanland turns into a horror paradise with 7 haunted houses and unique Halloween zones.

From Herentals railway station, Bobbejaanland is easy to reach with a shuttle bus that waits at platform 7 and runs twice an hour to the park entrance.

5. Sparkx Sportpretpark

Sparkx combines the fun of an amusement park with sport activities. There are a total of 50 sports to play at this sports theme park, making it one of the largest sports theme parks in Europe. From extreme sports to fishing, there is something for everyone. From Hasselt railway station, it's just over a 30-minute walk, which is no punishment by the way, as Hasselt's city centre is beautiful!

6. Walibi België

For daredevils, Walibi Belgium is the place to be. It features 9 roller coasters, including the famous 'Kondaa'. With a height of 50 metres and a top speed of 113 kilometres per hour, it is the highest and fastest roller coaster in the Benelux. Non-coaster fans will also be in their element at Walibi Belgium, the highest tower drop in the Benelux, the Dalton Terror has no less than a drop from 77 metres. For Halloween, there are the '10 terrifying nights' with 4 haunted houses and 5 'scare zones'. In addition, the new maze Pandemonium is also recommended for the daredevil.

With Bierges-Walibi railway station 150 metres from the park, it is easy to reach by train.

7. Bellewaerde

Originating in 1954, Bellewaerde is Belgium's oldest amusement park. With 34 attractions, including 4 roller coasters, it offers plenty of entertainment. Unique to Bellewaerde is the zoo that runs through the park and is interconnected with the attractions. Water lovers can enjoy 13 water attractions at Bellewaerde Aquapark. At Halloween, Bellewaerde transforms into a haunted park that is fun for the whole family. For the little ones there is a magical bubble show, while older children can get spooked in one of the 5 haunted houses.

The park is easily accessible: Ypres railway station is the closest, and from there it is only 15-20 minutes by bus that stops in front of the park entrance.

8. Technopolis Mechelen

Nothing is too crazy at Technopolis, the child-friendly science and technology hands-on centre where you can touch everything. Cycle on a cable 5 metres high, launch your own hot-air balloon and live in a soap bubble. A day of playing and learning for the whole family, including the little ones. Technopolis is located in Mechelen, Belgium, and is easily accessible.

You can travel directly by Intercity Brussels or by high-speed train Eurostar (change in Antwerp). Travel time is about 2.5 hours, excluding a short 5-minute bus ride (bus 682 or 283) from Mechelen station to Technopolis.

9. Plopsa Coo

An amusement park with two waterfalls? You can at Plopsa Coo! Besides the waterfalls, there are 23 attractions, including 2 roller coasters. Meet Bumba and Plop, or attend one of the Smurfs shows. Many attractions are toddler-friendly, making this park also suitable for young children.
