1. Wörgl
Wörgl is located in the Austrian region of Tirol, less than an hour by train from Innsbruck. The town lies at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser mountains, making it an ideal place for skiing and snowboarding. There are several ski resorts in the area, including the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental, with more than 280 kilometres of slopes. 2. Moûtiers
Moûtiers is the hub for ski resorts such as Val Thorens and Courchevel. In Val Thorens, the highest point of Les Trois Vallées, you can enjoy guaranteed snow and 600 km of slopes. Courchevel is known for its chic restaurants and international jet set. Experience helicopter flights, a dog sledding adventure, or the Olympic ice rink. In Val Thorens, you’ll also find lively après-ski.
Moûtiers is accessible by TGV year-round, and in winter you can travel directly with Eurostar Snow. From Amsterdam, you’ll be on the slopes in just 8 hours! Relax and travel in comfort by train, what more could you want?
3. Bolzano-Bozen
Bolzano-Bozen is the capital of the southern Tyrol region of Italy and is a great base for exploring the surrounding Dolomites. The city is easily accessible by train. Once you arrive in Bolzano-Bozen, you can take a cable car up to one of the many ski resorts in the area. There is plenty to do in Bolzano-Bozen during your ski holiday. Besides skiing and snowboarding, you can ice-skate, sled or even take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the snowy streets.
4. Grindelwald
