Step 5. You change your trip by rebooking and canceling online through My NSI
Depending on your fare conditions, you may be able to cancel your ticket(s) yourself online in My NSI. In some cases, this may incur a fee. Check your fare terms and conditions in My NSI. Will you receive a refund? If so, you will receive it within 3-7 business days.
Book your new trip first and only then cancel your current ticket(s) to avoid your trip being unavailable.

* Are you traveling with another (domestic) train besides Eurostar to Belgium/France, Eurocity Direct, Eurocity (Direct), ICE, Nightjet, Intercity Berlin, TGV or Eurostar to London? Then choose the option '(Also) with another train operator'.

The fare conditions state that to change a name or route, you must cancel the ticket and book a new ticket. Book first your new trip and only then cancel your current ticket(s) to avoid your trip being unavailable.
Is the name on the ticket spelt incorrectly? Then your ticket is still valid. There is no need to change it.

Step 2. Change your ticket through your travel agent, tour operator or NS International desk
Did you book your ticket at a travel agent, tour operator or NS International desk? Then you can change your ticket there, depending on the conditions of your ticket.
In case of an emergency, such as a strike or storm, you will receive an email with instructions on how to change or cancel without charge.
