Quickly to the heart of Lyon

For the real Burgundians, Lyon is a good place to be. As the culinary capital of France, there is a huge offer of restaurants and bistros. This ranges from starred restaurants to the more affordable options. Also nice to visit is Les Halles de Lyon, the market where restaurateurs buy their wares.

In Vieux-Lyon, you’ll find pleasant restaurants, bars and shops. Characteristic of Lyon are the traboules: narrow, covered alleys where silk workers used to transport their goods. Some of them are open to the public. For more culture, visit the Musée des Beaux Arts. This museum has a huge collection, from ancient Egypt to the present day.
