What to do in the Berlin Hauptbahnhof area

From Berlin Hauptbahnhof station, you can walk straight into the city centre. Take a 15-minute walk along the Spree River to highlights such as the Reichstag building or the Brandenburg Gate. Another fifteen minutes and you will find the remains of the Berlin Wall and various exhibitions about life in the former GDR. Some of the most beautiful museums and shopping streets of Berlin are within walking distance, others can be reached quicker by metro. Stations in the east, south, and north

Berlin has a large network of train stations that are well connected. Besides the main station, Berlin Hauptbahnhof, there are other key stations in different parts of the city.
