Are you a cycling enthusiast? In the Ardennes you will find a few strong 'calf biters'. Take your bike with you on the train and conquer the legendary Stockeu. Or would you prefer to kayak on the Ourthe near La Roche? You can also go hiking there. Have fun, because on the train your can relax those tired limbs.

Intercity Brussels becomes Eurocity Direct and EuroCity from 15 December

From 15 December 2024, the name and route of Intercity Brussels will change. The fast train to Brussels will soon be called Eurocity Direct. In addition to the Intercity, there will also be an extra train to Belgium, EuroCity. Until that date, you can continue to travel on the current trains.

Tips to book cheap traintickets

For Intercity Brussels you can buy tickets from 180 days before departure. Up until 3 days before departure, you are able to buy our Early Bird tickets: tickets with a significant discount. The availability is limited.

General tips for getting the cheapest tickets

  • Book as early as possibly to have the most chance of getting the cheapest tickets.
  • Travelling in the evening is often cheaper.
  • For a weekend getaway, travel Sat-Sun-Mon instead of Fri-Sat-Sun.
  • Book online to avoid booking fee.
