Gare du Nord Paris Station

This is the station where the train from the Netherlands arrives in Paris. Eurostar takes you from Amsterdam to Paris in 3.18 hours. Station Gare du Nord is open from 05.00 in the morning to 01.00 at night. Here you can go by bus, metro or train to other stations in Paris.

The neighborhood around station Gare du Nord is a melting pot of cultures. There are dozens of Indian, Japanese and Greek restaurants. The largest indoor market in Paris – Saint-Quentin – is just a 5-minute walk from the station. The best place to buy the finest fresh produce. Do you want to experience the real Paris, then walk down the Rue de Faubourg Saint-Denis. Intimate cafes and trendy coffee shops are plentiful. In the evening, you can enjoy a delicious cocktail with good music. There's enough to do!

Practical information

Metro

Besides the area around the Gare du Nord station, the rest of Paris is easy to discover by metro. The Parisian metro networks is extensive and the route is easy to map out. Tip: you also have the option to purchase your metro ticket at the bar in Eurostar, but please note, they are not always available.

Delay

Did you miss your train connection due to, for example, a (train) delay? If so, you can go to the Eurostar desk in the main hall. The staff will be happy to help you to rebook and to answer any questions you may have.

Lounge

Are you waiting for your train and are you member of Club Eurostar? Then you are welcome at Eurostar's lounge: Lounge&More. It is located at Rue Dunkerque 22; a 5-minute walk from the train station.

Store luggage

You can safely leave your luggage in the lockers of the station's luggage storage area. You can find the depot by following the signs "sonsigne" downstairs. Prices vary between € 5.50 and € 9.50 per 24 hours, depending on the size of the suitcase. The depot is open Monday to Sunday from 06.15 to 23.15 hrs.

Did you lose anything at the station? Please contact the Lost & Found desk at Gare du Nord: Tel. + 33 892 35 35 35 35. If you are still in the vicinity of Gare du Nord, you can, of course, also visit the desk in person. The Lost & Found desk is downstairs in the station, opposite the rue Maubeuge exit.
